The Emmy's this year did not disappoint fashion wise, award wise, I still think Bryan Cranston should have won. For me, award shows are more about the pre-show than the actual show, but the Emmy's are my favorite awards because I'm obsessed with television, I watch way too many shows. The Oscar's are my favorite for fashion, I mean, who doesn't love the couture that graces The Oscar's Red Carpet?
I picked out a few of my favorites looks. Did you watch the Emmy's? What was your favorite look or moment?
My absolute favorite was Taylor Schilling in Thakoon, it was absolutely stunning and I generally don't like white, but the way it fit, the cut outs, LOVE. I also binge watched Orange Is The New Black while I was sick and that show is addicting and so well written.
I also loved the simplicity of Allison William's gown by Ralph Lauren. I just love classy and simple without much fuss, she looked amazing.
Rose Bryn + Calvin Klein = perfection. I wish I had her body. Absolutely gorg.
Laura Dern in Naeem Khan. There's no denying that I love lace and pink so this dress was a no brainer. Loved.
A lot of people did not like Aubrey Plaza's dress by Marios Schwab, I strangely did. Not sure why, it's just different and she took a risk on the carpet and I applaud her for that.
Lastly, I didn't really like this dress on Sarah Hyland by Carolina Herrera, she looked like she was trying too hard to look older. I get it, she's 22, but no need to age yourself. But the second I saw this dress it reminded me of Mila Kunis' Oscar dress 2012 by Elie Saab, just a more gothic version.
