Breezy Summer Skirt

It will officially be summer tomorrow but in Houston, summer has been well underway for the past two months, read: it's HOT! 
With that said, I have been loving maxi skirts. If you have read my blog, you know my obsession with stripes so when I found this striped maxi skirt at Loft, I had to have it. Lucky for me it was on sale! 
Maxi skirts, as I've blogged about before here, are a great alternative to jeans/pants/shorts/minis for the summer for a number of reasons. You still get a nice breeze, dependent on the fabric, they can be dressed up or down with different accessories and belts, and finally my favorite reason, they can be worn all year long. 
Confession: I love this skirt so much, I wear it 2-3 times a week! Let me know if you love maxi skirts as much as I do.
