First off, thank you to all the veterans and those who currently are in the armed forces. We thank you.
This past Memorial Day weekend I chose to wear patriotic outfits. These outfits will also work for the Fourth of July. I chose a long blue jersey dress and accented with white and red. We visited La Jolla Beach this past weekend and it is just beautiful.
Tips:
- If you're traveling to the Los Angeles area, bring layers. It's warm during the day and quite chilly at night, even in the summer. I'm currently in love with my chambray shirt and pretty much used it everyday here.
- Long maxi dresses:
- Are perfect for California weather. You can tie it up in a knot if you are going to walk on the beach and most of all, they are comfortable.
- Can be dressed up or down, just perfect all around.
We go back home tomorrow night and though I will miss my cousin and this beautiful weather, I miss my husband. I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday weekend and have a great short work week!
