I like oatmeal, I especially love it when it's slightly cold out. Now, I don't make the traditional ones, I get the instant Quaker Oats kind with maple syrup and brown sugar. Lately, I've been tossing in some fresh blueberries to make it tastier, not to mention the antioxidants I'm adding to my already cholesterol lowering bowl of oats.

Yep, that's right, oatmeal is really good for you too. It's high in soluble fiber which helps lower your cholesterol and it tastes good too. It's also good for overall heart health. So grab a bowl and make some oatmeal, you'll feel all warm and fuzzy on the inside.

That's my little rave about my favorite winter time breakfast.
